PP Hernández Produce is dedicated to delivering the freshest and finest quality of wholesome fresh fruits and vegetables at wholesale prices. Through continuous innovation, adaptation and modernization, we strive to be South Florida’s most reputable fresh produce provider in order to meet consumer needs, exceed customer expectations, and to promote the health of the environment.
Our Story
PP Hernández Produce is a family-owned and operated business committed to excellence. Growing up in the rural country side of Villa Clara, Santa Clara, Cuba, Pedro Pablo spent much of his childhood outside, either playing alongside nearby farmlands or swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the river stream leading up to his house. It was during this time that he developed a keen interest in the land and its crops.
Shortly after migrating to United States, in the fall of 2001, Pedro Pablo established PP Hernández Produce with three employees and one small truck, in a 1,200 sq. Ft. facility. By 2005, his company relocated to a 14,707 sq. Ft facility to support the accelerated growth of his entrepreneurial vision. Today PP Hernández Produce serves the entire South Florida area by supplying the freshest produce available to local supermarkets, corner stores, and other food service operations.
Future Goals
At PP Hernández Produce, we are on a mission to meet the growing demand for healthier communities and a sustainable planet. We are focused on expanding to plant-based proteins by bringing a complete line of nuts, beans and peas in 2020.
To this end, we have set a clear path of expansion by restructuring and fostering new partnerships. We have specific goals and will scale our efforts to deliver the freshest and safest plant-based proteins to South Florida.
